Patrick O’Brien.

I stumbled upon the Patrick O’Brien Foundation website tonight, and was instantly drawn to his raw and highly descriptive blog entries about his fight against the degenerative muscle disease ALS. One, from this past May, is amazingly poignant: The end of small talk, thank G-d. The end of doodling – I’ll miss you, waves, flowers, […]

more abandoned harriman state park.

I can’t get enough of this place. Jim has had this Batman towel since he was eight or something: It has a hole in the top and everything. Abandoned teepees. Dam that lake. My black eye’s almost gone. And it’s freckle season.

I shot a bunch of stuff for the upcoming Heeb 100 issue, out this fall. Oh, and Wormser from Revenge […]

My boyfriend Jim is riding 100 miles this September for charity. You can sponsor any specific mile of the trip, and he’ll be liveblogging it all from the road. On September 9th, 2007, I’ll be riding in the NYC Century Bike Tour, a 100-mile ride around the perimeter of New York City. The ride itself […]

I can’t believe it’s the middle of July already. Shit’s blowing by fast and I can barely keep up. I shot the Shout Out Louds last Tuesday for LooseRecord. Look for the pics up there soon. They’re apparently the new Cure or something. Wednesday Jim and I took a trip to the American Museum of […]

black eyes and clear water

We went to Splish Splash on Long Island yesterday. On the first ride of the day, I got kneed in the face when we landed at the bottom of a slide in an innertube. My black eye has been developing quite nicely: Other than that it was a blast. They have this new Alien Invasion […]
